It is important for people to know that they are saved and that they do not need to be saved again and again. After they finish praying and receiving Christ, ask, “If you died now, where go?” If they answer “Heaven,” ask, “Why?” The correct answer is “Jesus saved me.” Show John 1:12: “To as many as received Him…” “Did you receive Jesus? Then the Bible promises you are in the family of God. When you die, you will go to Heaven. “And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish (in Hell)” (John 10:28). “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish (in Hell), but have everlasting life (In Heaven)” (John 3:16).

Explain – Saved is only one time, not several times. You are born one time into a human family of Adam, and you are born one time into the holy family of God. God will always remember when you received Jesus. Your name is now written in Heaven.

Sign Excitedly – “Now, I meet you Heaven. When you die future, God remember your prayer. You die, God say, ‘Mine! Come up with me.‘” Sign, “I happy you finished saved.” Shake hands or hug them. Encourage them to tell others that they are now “finished saved.”

Follow Up – Give them literature and plan to pick them up or invite them to come to church. Continue to visit and teach them what they need to do after they are saved. Invite them to a meal at your house. Give them literature to study and let them ask questions. Teach them about baptism, church, and following the Lord. The first step after salvation is baptism. As children, they need to learn and grow. Pray with them and become their friend in the Lord. Don’t forget to teach and train them and help them to grow in the Lord so they can also teach and train other deaf people. This is the plan of God to reach the deaf!
